Today kicks off a nine week program which players can voluntarily attend, for teams around the league. OTA’s consist of three phases which activities gradually work up over the nine weeks. Phase l consists of strength and conditioning, rehabilitation on injuries, and team meetings.

Phase ll is a three week period which on field workouts are allowed but are limited to only individual drills.

Phase lll is when everything ramps up, this is the final four week period which the team may conduct team drills (offense v. defense) in 7 v 7, 9 v 7, and 11 v 11 scenarios.

It’s important to note that this program is voluntary and players can show up at any time and join the team in their workouts.
