The Browns start the Preseason 1-0 defeating the Carolina Panthers 30-10. The Browns as a whole looked good on both sides of the ball and showed flashes on special teams, but the story of the night was 5th round rookie QB Shedeur Sanders.

Sanders made his 1st career start tonight and showed flashes of the player he was at Colorado these past two seasons. Sanders finished with 138 passing yards, 19 rushing yards, and 2 passing touchdowns. The expectations and hype were huge for Shedeur and he delivered in his 1st career NFL action.

Players like Carson Schwesinger and Mason Graham also looked the part in limited snaps. Some hidden gems such as Luke Floriea, Gage Larvadain, Kaden Davis, and Ahmani Marshall all had solid games and moments to build off of. Recently signed Tyler Huntley came after Sanders to finish the game and made plays including a touchdown to Cade McDonald.

The defense held Carolina to 10 points and 3/12 on 3rd down. Overall, Preseason Week 1 was a successful opening game for the Browns and what they wanted to see out of their depth and young guys.

The Browns will take on the Philadelphia Eagles next Saturday at 1:00 EST and will arrive earlier in the week to participate in joint practices with the defending champs.
