The 2025 NFL Draft has concluded and the Cleveland Browns bring in 7 new rookies to their team. Lets take a look at the prospects and their roles with their new team.
Mason Graham (#5 Overall)

The Browns traded back from #2 overall to #5 overall and acquired multiple draft picks, selecting Mason Graham 5th overall. Graham is a 6'3", 296-pound defensive tackle who is a mauler in the run game. Graham was ranked the #1 DT in the class and had comparisons to Christian Wilkins by many draft analysts. Graham provides a nonstop motor and is physical at the point of attack. At his size, he has great short-area quickness and penetrates gaps well. Graham will look to complement Garrett as the Browns seek solutions to help their star.
Carson Schwesinger (33rd Overall)

The Browns had the first selection (Pick 33) in Round 2 and selected Carson Schwesinger, the LB out of UCLA. Schwesinger was the consensus 2nd-rated LB in the class and has showcased his elite athletic ability to make an impact right away. With Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah's situation up in the air, the Browns had to get a young LB with potential in the room. Carson provides great body control and speed to see plays develop. Known as a tackling machine, the Browns will look to Schwesinger as a key contributor on defense this season.
Quinshon Judkins (36th Overall)

The Browns selected Quinshon Judkins with the 36th pick. The Browns' room needed to be overhauled with Nick Chubb still a free agent and Jerome Ford being the only back safe on the roster. Judkins split carries with Treyveon Henderson last season and was completely dominant all season long. At 6'0" and 220 pounds, Judkins is a pure 3-down back and has the ability to be the workhorse for the future. He plays with aggression and physicality, making it really hard to bring him down. He is a touchdown machine, scoring 50 career touchdowns in college. This looks to be a home run pick for the Browns.
Harold Fannin Jr (67th Overall)

With the 67th pick, the Cleveland Browns selected the Bowling Green standout Harold Fannin Jr. The local kid who grew up in Canton, OH, is headed to the Browns and will look to complement David Njoku in that TE room. Fannin put up video game numbers last season at Bowling Green and has the size and speed to make a big impact moving forward. Fannin is a YAC machine who refuses to go down and reminds many people of David Njoku. The Browns have needed to improve this TE room for years and finally addressed it in the 3rd round.
Dillon Gabriel (94th Overall)

At Pick 94, the Browns made a major surprise by selecting Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel. The 5'11" senior had an impressive season at Oregon, finishing 4th in the Heisman voting and leading the Ducks to their first Big Ten title. Many question Gabriel's size and age, but the Browns were extremely high on Gabriel and took him a lot sooner than many thought. His role is yet to be determined, but the Browns surely want to see what Gabriel can do at the next level.
Dylan Sampson (126th Overall)

The Browns double up on RB and select Dylan Sampson. Sampson is coming off a great season at Tennessee, winning SEC Offensive Player of the Year and scoring 22 touchdowns. Sampson's speed and elusiveness are top-tier, and he has the burst to get past everybody. He has an underrated blocking ability and can be a weapon in the passing game. The Browns addressed the RB room this draft, getting younger and more athletic, which was a priority after last season.
Shedeur Sanders (144th Overall)

The Browns shocked the NFL world by selecting Sanders in the 5th round after taking Dillon Gabriel in the 3rd round. Sanders, throughout the whole draft process, was a lock to go in the 1st round and most likely top 5, but after poor combine interviews and questions about his demeanor, he fell to the 5th round. Many call this the steal of the draft if Sanders can play like he did at Colorado, or this could be another Manziel 2.0 in the eyes of some. Only time will tell, but in the 5th round, to get this type of talent, the Browns surely got a potential franchise QB at great value.
